Checked all that and they seem to be fine. Bearings seem to be in A OK shape. Regreased and just got the drum back on and adjusted. I then turned the brake shoe adjuster until I felt slight drag onthe drum while spinning it like the book says. With the wheel on the truck it will spin many revolutions nice and smooth before stopping. Perhaps I adjusted the shoes too tight in the beginning and noticed it today while pulling the trailer on the hiway. The drum was a bear to get to slide off earlier. All is clean inside and all shoes and springs are in place and working.
