I've heard a lot of guys say if you don't love the rough ride, then you don't love the truck.
I, however, think there should be a modern way to match the payload capacity of the original suspension wihtout beating the truck, cargo, and passengers to death. I don't mind getting bounced around myself. But I cringe every time my 60-year old truck takes a jolt.
