This happens quite a bit. It's not just related to the slave cylinder. Sometimes the fork for the throw out bearing bends. Sometimes it is the pilot bearing. Chrysler knows all about it but some dealers help some blow you off. Look at www.turbodieselregister.com and you will see what is going on with warranties and such. Good luck.
