The 8 bolt rims found on the 61-current
3/4 & 1 tons are for the dana/spicer axles.
rims from 61 - current dodges or fords will fit.
Military rims are available from various surplus
dealers - try Boyce Equipment in Salt Lake City UT
New rims are available from almost every tire store.
The "normal" 8 bolt rim was either a 16 x 8 inch
or a 16.5 X 8(?) fitting 235/85r16 and 8.75/16.5
tire respectively.

As for "split" rims - The Dodge rims after 67 have
the bead retenison lip to prevent the tire bead
from unseating if the tire looses air at speed.
These rims are truely frighting to seat the bead.
My set of 68 rims require 60+ psi to seat the tire
against the rim and split ring. If you are set on
having a set of split rims -
TAKE THEM TO A QUALIFIED TIRE SHOP. If you must
do you own tire break downs and setup -
GET THEE TO A QUALIFIED TIRE SHOP ! Pay them to
either do the work OR TEACH YOU HOW.
The early model split rims seat the tire against
the ring and rim at much lower air pressure levels.
Mine will seat under 15 psi depending on the tire.

For most folks the regular rims are better.
Stockton Wheel in southern CA advertizes in some the
wheel drive magazines. Give them a call.

Good luck
Send me a picture of your rim and rims. I try to
make a closer id
