I am 19 years old and I bought my first Power Wagon
1 year ago. I am in the process of restoring the body.
Unfortunately, this has an unclear registration.
I have a VIN plate for an newer Powerwagon,
which has allowed me to put on the road.
I am trying to figure out the exact year. I
believe it to be a 1959 or '60 Power Wagon, but I am
unsure. My 1 ton Powerwagon (WM300) has: vacuum wiper
motors,factory power steering, power brakes, pto
8000lb winch and a 230 ci flathead 6 cylinder engine.
Could someone tell me if I am close to the year, or
when power steering became an option. Another
question I have is if Chrysler can trace my motor
serial numberand give me the exact year and VIN #,
and who would I write to for that.
