Dodge should stamp out some of the old 1940's WC series pickup truck bodies, with the swing-out windshield, real diamond-deck running boards, express bed, Budd-style combat rims, radiator grill made from bar stock, PTO bumper winch, etc.
OK, I know for environmental, they'd have to put new modern power plant. And crash bars inside the door sheetmetals and shoulder harnesses for safety laws. And electric windshield wipers. But Dodge must have the 50+ year old sheetmetal blueprints in their archives. More people would buy simple, well-constructed, heavy-iron WORK pickups than a $40k showpiece that the common worker cannot even afford to replace a cracked turn signal lense...
("Electronic tailgate"? What is that? Does it come with special cloth driving gloves and foot booties, too?)
