An observation I have made of at least '57 and later flat fenders is as follows:
Top section & pieces above doors is gray and edged in gray.
Windshield side & rear quarter pieces are black & edged in gray.
Steel trim above doors, at rear window & above windshield is gray.
Dash knobs are late 50'-60's style black or gray.
Seat covers: have seen black, brown & gray.
Instrument bezels are painted white.
Visors are gray.
'57 only has "forward look" horn button.
There are several "undocumented" subtle differences of several interior items over the course of production span.
