I had the crank & assembly balanced on the 230 in my M-37 (about $125.00) I was told if you do nothing else to a long stroke engine, get it balanced. I've put 600mi on the truck and it purrs at any rpm. I also put in .30 over balanced pistons,and had the head lightly milled. After my rebuild ( and a nos oil pump) my truck has 58lbs oil pressure at start up with 30w oil,after it reaches running temp its 52lbs at idle (haven't check it since first start up after rebuild)
