It might be a early WC (early WW2) 1/2 ton rim. I believe, but I'm not an expert on 1/2 tons, that they were 5.5" wide instead of 6.5" since they were designed for 7.50-16s, not 9.00s. People talk about using them for dual setups but when used as the inner wheel (the total backspacing is the same as the later wheel, therefore the flat mounting flange is out an inch further and potentially allows duals without metal to metal or rubber to rubber interference), except for one big thing. When used on the inside it interferes with something, the brake drum or some steering component or something. Places like Vintage PWs and other Dodge gurus are familiar with the problem. I'll bet POW knows.
