Lyle, I am pretty sure this is a 265 with sodium filled valves. Check the size of the valve stems if you can. They are much larger than the standard valve stems. I just had mine rebuilt and there was no valve wear since my last rebuild. If you pull the small pipe plug over the No. 6 cyl. and measure the stroke with a piece of wire or welding rod you can tell the size. The block should be 25" long at the head while a Dodge 230 is 23". Actually, I don't think anything but the 265's got the IND stamp and sodium filled valves. My 265 was the Industrial version, but it was not stamped that way on the block. BOB
