A power wagon woody can still be made today the same as in the forties. I have started a project woodie, the woodwork is completed on a 1952 rolling chassis and it is now licensed as a 1952 station wagon. I had it appraised for insurance purposes at $22,000, and that is without any restoration to the original drivetrain or body. The appraiser said when complete it could bring $80,000 to $125,000. The only difference between mine and an original is that I wanted four doors with the spare tire carried underneath instead of three doors with the tire attached behind the driver's door.
