I'm glad there is another frugal soul who is uncomfortable with this. I am going to try a local old-time upholstry shop and see what he thinks. I don't see anything that difficult, have photos of original vehicles and am not looking for a "concours de Elegance" grade installation.
I *would like a little sound/heat insulation in the final product (so I can groove to the gear sounds better). Anybody have any experience with the mylar bubble shield product or ???
I also am close enough to the border (180 mi) that I might try that option - wonder how a FF would look w a rol and tuck job? <grin - just kidding.
