I have been thinking about the windshield wiper dilemma that many of us face, vacuum wipers don't work all that well if the engine is robbing all the vacuum, and the electric wipers that I bought are about worthless, especally for what I paid and the trouble to install them....so here's my thought, what if one was to install a vacuum pump of the type used on diesel engines and used that to run the vacuum type wipers ?, my knowledge of diesel engines is little to none so maybe I'm nuts, maybe the vacuum pump would rob the 'ol flathead of too much power...any diesel guy's have any thought's ???
