That is a 1940 for sure. It's in pretty good shape too. Let me know if you want to sell it. I've sorta specialized in the 1940, VD-series Dodges for about 42 years now. If you can locate the rest of the truck, the front and rear axles and the wheels are very hard to come by, too. The remaining pieces are pretty much common to the WC-series Dodges.
