Put a 67-68 Dual Master Cylinder on a 48 PW

Well I put it on. Did not bolt right up to the original mount. If I used the original mount it hit the steering box. So I made a plate out of 1/4 inch plate steel that bolted to the original top 2 holes cut the bottom 3rd hole out to allow the rod to work the new one. I cut the plate to fit new master Cylinder mount this droped the cylinder down a little over 1 1/2 inches. Bent the plate so the cylinder was level and the rod then worked the plunger just tight. I used a new stainless steel rod off a school bus brake Rod cut to the right length. The old one would have worked. Split the lines and installed them. Now I have to get a new brake light switch or adapter to mount it into the old TEE. Took about 2 1/2 hours to make the plate and bolt it all in. Mark H.
