I have several untitled vehicles that I bought mostly for parts. I have taken my Bills of Sale to the local County Clerk and have paid sales tax for all untitled vehicles, which usually amounts to only a few dollars. The County Clerks don't even bat an eye or ask a single question about untitled vehicles here as long as you aren't attempting to license them for highway use. There is nothing illegal about purchasing untitled vehicles in Wyoming, unless the vehicle in question is stolen, and they check the VIN numbers to be sure you don't have a stolen vehicle at the County Clerk's office. Very simple to do and no hassle.
