Personally, I would not keep this gas stove.

You can start by taking the burner unit (along with the whole stove) to your local Propane specialty shop. Not Home Depot, but a genuine Propane supply company with a real parts counter and the works. I believe the burner jets are different for propane vs LP vs gas. It will probably matter if you want to keep the "look" of the original gas stove. Otherwise it will be cheaper and safer in the long run to buy a stove designed for indoor Propane use. You notice that I capitalize Propane because I have respect for it.

I have been around Propane a lot and work with people who have been seriously burned by lack of respect for this gas. It becomes much more dangerous when used indoors. so be careful out there.
