Hey Russ. I remember your '49. first with the original fenders, and then with the new grey fenders. I don't remember the rest of the truck being black though. Guess I thought it was grey. I'll have to dig out my photos to refresh my memory.
You don't happen to know who posted the two threads that I referred to? When I read them, I thought he was a Forum regular. That Walter Howell truck has been a mystery to many of us since it apparently went into hiding back in 1984. Would like to know if it found a good home.
