automatics have a place. I owned one before this for 8 years but was not up to it. Dont have a choice on the work truck. My last heavy drive was in a old white COE with a Allison it was a twin screw pulling a 15 horse van and going down the road to Vegas across the Dam in Nevada and that truck was sure good to get on the highway. But it was not good goind down that grade in low and popping into the next gear my brother has tree top kicks and a International in his fence buisness they do real good especially with some of his employees driving skills. I am not excited by them in a 1 ton under any condition other than on a slick road or lack of one.
