Even though there are more parts, that's what it takes to make a more fuel friendly and "clean" burning motor, while still producing respectable performance. The V-10 produces more torque than the 1st generation Cummins. 305 HP and 455 lb. ft/ of torque. While there is some resemblence to the 360, the V-10 was actually developed by Jeep, and resurected by Dodge after Jeep was aquired by Chrysler.
