I recently applied for a lost title in Idaho for a '46 WDX. After at least 15 visits to the DMV and 45 phone calls, an inspection of the VIN number, (on the cab, not on the frame), I was issued a "conditional title". The reason for all this was the DMV lost some of their computer files (what a surprise), and, even though I had a power of attorney, and a bill of sale from the previous owner, who lost the title, I had to jump through the hoops and stand on my head to make the people with the badges happy. I would sell the frame and let life go on. "History" will do just fine without you titling that frame. I have a complete '48 B1 that needs a title. I plan to sell it and the title will improve saleability. Jerry Henry PS. I think "wondering" is another name for someone who likes to rile things up. There. I said it.
