Fletch;

Chev had 2 different Master Cylinders on the eariler 1 ton trucks. One Master Cylinder had a 1 1/4" bore, NAPA 50-1023 with Power Booster supplied. There was another Master Cylinder, Bendix 11584 which had a 1 5/16 bore, no power booster. The 1 5/16 should give 15 - 20% more reserve.

When I put my disk brakes on my PW, I was not aware of the two different MC's. NAPA
50-1023 was a Chev 1 Ton master cylinder with power booster. I had a low pedal, NO AIR. Changed the MC for the Bendix 11584 and now have a great pedal.

Something to look at.

Paul
