Hi Todd,
1975 running gear, just about a straight bolt-in. A guy rolled his brand new 1975 W200 on the way home from the dealer with 60 miles on it! I got everything for $1500, 1975 dollars! ha!ha! Short shaft 727 w/married T-case and drivelines and axles. I had to fishplate the unibody on the van, the front is a sub frame that I added a front crossmember to for support of the spring perches (see photo) I also had to "mate" the W steering arm to the B steering box, major welding to the cast arm DO NOT ATTEMPT that at home unless you are certified in specialty welding, I was lucky, I has access to welding equiopment at a trucking company, they can weld brass to aluminum if they have to, with some sweet and hi-tech (for 1975) welding equipment. It worked great. The Van could outclimb anything (wheelbase?) and rode really smooth! Then the family came and I became middle class ha!ha!
