...and thanks for the input. I'll check out that website. I would think copper is good because it is all but impervious to corrosion (look at copper & bronze age tools as well as Roman and greek statutes submerged in salt water for 3,000 years long after the iron parts of the ships rusted away, bronze propellors, etc.) and I know IH has many of their bolts and nuts, particularly exhaust and water jacket bolts, copper plated and they don't rust in place nor corrode.
