Gordon, I like the idea of squeezing a sealer between the frame and glass in order to make a tight seal, The thing I don't like about the rubber stuff that was mention as the normal way to installing the glass is, does it really seal the cavity between the glass and the frame completely to ensure water can't get in there to rust it out. Also seems like it would be hard to get the whole frame together without something sreewing-up. Seems to me these old Dodge frames were prone to rusting simply because the seal wasn't the greatest. Am I wrong? I've got to talk to my glass guy about it. Thanks for the help!
