Below are many advices for vices. Money is the main issue though, how much can you afford to spend ? I certainly wish in my state there were as many great $50 deals on good old vices as some report in their states but, as backward as some may think we are, "worth awareness" is not one of our shortcomings. Here folks try to get new price for old items.
While those of us who know a good deal just spend $49.99 for a big old Chinese 360* vice and pipe vice (at Big Lots) which holds up well enough under moderate hammering.
A 300lb. anvel to really pond on and a heavy duty vice would be nice but,do you have that type cash to spend?
To quote a speedshop sign, "speed cost money son, how fast do want to go"? If you do find a good vice at a reasonable price ,please let us know,the bigger the better.
