Eric. I would suggest if you have any second hand stores or pawn shops around or nearby that you try to find an old vise. The tool world is much like the truck world. The older vices are pretty indestructible. You could probably pick up something really good and strong for around $50.00. Check it out for the obvious abuse. Most of the old vises are like old anvils. Jerry Henry
