Well after a friend of mine got burned last
year useing a gas can and a rubber hose as
as temporary means of fuel source. When I
found myself wanting to start a ff I got that
did not have a gas tank. I sure did not want
to make the same mistake that he did so after
some thought and looking around the barn, I
came up with a gas tank off of a motorcycle
which worked realy well. The tank had a
shutoff on it and and a cap that sealed good.
so I put the tank on top of the radiator
shell and wired it down, this made the tank
higher than the carburetor so the fuel was
gravity fed. ran a hose from the shutoff on
the tank to the carb. the shutoff was helpful
when the carb flooded. worked so well that
once I got the truck started that I was able
to drive it around the farm.
