I had noticed yesterday that my generator was sitting a little cockeyed (my belt overheated and started smoking, I shut the truck down FAST!)upon inspection I notice the rear end of the generator was tilted inward toward the block. I pulled gently to re-align it with were I believe the old rear mount was...........SNAP!! I didn't pull hard, I knew that it wouldn't stand much shearing force and was trying to be gentle, but I think it would have snapped off on its own eventually anyway. I basically was just trying to realign it with the original mount to see if the belt would line up better,it did,but that doesn't help much now! where can I get a new generator?, or can it be rebuilt with new mounts? Checker wants around 200 bucks for a generator AFTER the core charge of 45 dollars anybody got a cheaper option/parts store?. this is on a polyshpere 318. any help would be appreciated(such as any parts interchanges etc.) thanks all, Jason
