This old cowboy finally decides to splurge on a new pair of boots. When he gets home, he asks the better half if she notices anything different about him-"nope, same old 60 year old cowboy I've known for 40 years". Humph! He tries something different, he goes into the bedroom and takes off all his clothes, except his new boots. He goes out and asks her again if she sees anything different about him. She Says, "same old cowboy, same tired equipment hanging down" He says "It's not hanging down, It's pointing at my new boots!" to which she replies "You shoulda bought a HAT"
