No. There is basically no adjustment to make the shoes square with the drum surface. The botton nuts (anchors) are ground with a cam shape. This is where the shoes anchor to the backing plate and upon which they rotate from. Adjusting these anchors moves the heals of the shoes in relationship to the radius of the drum. (Major adjustment). The top nuts(adjuster cams) move the toes of the shoes in relationship to the radius of the durms. (Minor Adjustment). They also determine how far back into the wheel cylinder the shoes will push the pistons due to the effect of the shoe return spring. As the shoes wear, these top adjusters need to be adjusted outward so the toes of the shoes do not have to travel the added distance needed to make up for the worn away lining. If these are not kept in proper adjustment, you will have poor pedal and may have to "pump up" the brakes.
