Dave I own a 59 W200 and they are great trucks in my opinion. Is this a V8 or six truck ? Also check to see if it turns over as well a the usual things you look for in buying a truck, brake pedal feel, tires, how the truck sits, etc. If the truck is fairly complete many of the mechanical parts are available thru Napa or a good parts store. As for price it's always a crap shoot as to what the seeler will take vs. what you want to spend. Ask him what he is thinking on price and see if the truck is worth that to you. Check the classifieds on this forum to see what similar trucks are going for also. Good luck and if you do buy the truck let us know so we can help.
