When I started working on my truck it was in a Walnut Orchard. I had to do a lot of mechanical work before I could move it. I was afraid my Jetta was not really not up to that task. So I bought a big plastic tarp for a cover and worked on it several months before it was road worthy. It was probably for the best because it was covered everywhere with dried diesel fuel and dirt. The last company to own it was a water district, so they sprayed alot of ditch weeds. It took a sandblaster and soaking to get most of it off, just had that bad fuel smell. Finally was able to drive it home where I continue to work on it. It's been a 7 year project and still going. More things I want and need to do, but will have to wait for the big stuff until after the kids are done with College. My garage is about the size of yours, so space is tight, but I manage.

Once you get your manuals, if you have trouble identifying parts, let us know, we'll help.

P.S. Can't haul my truck with the Jetta, but I can tow it!!!!
