Hi Scott,
If those numbers are good, they are pre-'62.
A 318A Poly will look like this, notice the 'scollops' at the lower edge of the head, that is the giveaway external characteristic. Also the intake and exhaust runners are evenly spaced just like a Hemi, which is where the Poly came from.
