Engine ID Number verses year made??

I have engine # T137-11185 in my 48 power wagon dose that sound right for the year? I did not do any checks on how many were made by then but this would be the 11,185th engine of that series of T137. The transmission date code is 6-24-48 also. So things seem to match up are far as original on it. Mark H.
