Avion are certainly beautiful campers and should fit in a FF PW bed. But they are permanently quite tall, higher than an Alaskan in lowered traveling position, and cannot be lowered, which usually means the camper truck must be parked outside in the open as opposed to under a roof of some kind. Avions also typically extend about 2 feet behind and 2 feet below the rear of the pickup bed. This makes towing a trailer very challenging due to lack of clear access to the rear hitch. The long length of the necessary receiver extension increases the leveraging effect of trailer tongue weight on the truck. However, if you never plan on towing a trailer with your FF PW while it had a camper installed, an Avion is another good choice.
