to check axle on a full floater. unbolt all the nuts on the end, hit end of the axle shaft with the biggest hammer you got, at least a 3 pounder. stand clear axle should pop out, this is not a time to be shy with the hammer. count the spines, measure the diameter, measure the lenght. If it is a centered rear dif only need to do one side.
Clean surface where axle bolts up, dab of silicone, slide back in and bolt it up. 30 minutes max time
