Eric, I think a lot of it is the end use of the truck. Those building a second, or third, or twenty fifth truck have less need for haste and let more important things come first. Also having a dedicated space to work in helps. I finished my TownWagon in about two years after I started actually working on it. It is now my daily driver, and midlife crisis sports car, so I had a self imposed deadline of my 50th birthday.
