I think the main differance between us and car guys is the only thing car guys have going for them is "how does it look like at the car show" which prods them on to working like the devil to get it done because you can't take a half done car to a show.
Us truck guys {especially the mil truck guys}... well... the phrase "all show and no go" don't normally apply. We get it going and can't wait to get it out on the trail or that big mud hole in the back field. And once you get the trill of the run you can't hardly stand to take it apart and miss that good snow storm... And speaking of snow storms, the car guys look forward to having a snow day off from work so they can work on their cars. On the other hand the truck guys look forward to a snow day {like they can't get to work, ha, they drive a PW} so they can go and pull the car guys {who were tring to get the the parts store} out of the ditch.

To summerize us truck guys look and what the vehicle can do not just how it looks, and the truck isn't doing anything while it's torn apart.
