Mobil 1 in V-10 Ram revisited......

OK, I made the plunge and converted to Mobil 1 10W-30 this weekend. I did a "flushing oil & filter change" using NAPA 10W-30 and then went ahead and changed the filter and oil again to the Mobil 1. To refresh, this is a 98 Dodge Ram 2500 V-10 4X4 with 78000 miles on it.

Anyway, so far the only difference I have noted is a greater flucuation range in oil pressure from idle to road speed (in other words, the oil pressure drops lower when at idle, then when using conventional 10W-30 oil). I should mention the oil pressure at idle is something like 40-45 psi now, and before was around 55 psi, as interpolated on the factory gage.)
