Well I replaced the rear brakes and one drum on the rear. That was easy to do. Tried to find out the rear gear ratio by counting the turns. When I did it the rear tire turned once for a little over 2.75 turns on the pinion??? I wonder if this is why I have a set of new ring and pinions for the front and rear? The front has the guts removed out of the bolt in part. There is a new 5.83 Diferential for going in there along with new axles. Just washed the grease off it! The rear end diferential looks just like the front set up. Could they have put different ratio gears in it? This once was going to have a Chevy small block put in but they changed there mine befor they did it. That is why the trans and engine was removed. I think the front end was being rebuilt or is a new one because I found all new brake lines, master cylinder and the housing is clean and not rusted at all. Might have to pull the rear gears out to make sure or install the front gears and check to see how it turns. Mark H.
