My experience yields this advice.... not necessarily because of the load capacity, but the range of motion, I think a 4 ton is really best for a truck as tall as a Power Wagon, plus the realities of the heights you raise them to in order to do the work.
I think from a dimensional point of view, a 4 ton is a practical minimum. Buy one used. Even somewhat larger would not be bad.
