Sure have. When I first bought my '61 WM300, I had to get it weighed on a public scales for registration purposes. Came in at 7700 lbs.
This was minus the front bumper, extensions and winch, which I pulled off. Oh, yeah, the hose reels were removed also. (that's right, a brush truck). GVWR is 9500 lbs.
Not much help to you, I know, but maybe that's why there seems to be no single answer to your question. There are alot of different configurations to these old trucks.
