i sell a lot on ebay. if you start with a low reserve and are ubeat and honest in your description, set your reserve at what you need to get out of the truck you will do fine. post your phone number, offer to demonstrate & give the customer some value added (i usually offer some spare parts free or bundled in discount to the new owner) If you make yourself available and answer queries promptly, the buyer begins to feel trust & will deal. your truck is a steal at 8000 and its useable. i just bought a kit to install 318 in my m37. my command is almost bone stock. if i had the room, i would see your truck as value. it would be easier for a new owner to reinstall a flathead back into the truck that it would be to bring back a rust bucket. you could mention that in the ad & that VPW has 251s that would drop in cheap. go figure- you will sell it. by the way, its not the best season to be selling it. if you can hold on until the weather breaks you will get your price.
