Look into WK products. They offer two types of spray sealant. The black stuff for undercoating and an inner panel sealant that never really dries. It wicks a non sulphurous base oil suspended in a gelatinous agent (yellow snot) into seams and crevices. Spray into the panels with a schutz gun. It'll weep a bit of the light oil for a year or two. I've done cars and trucks with it. Cheap anti rot insurance at about $50/gallon. One gallon is more than enough for our old tubs. At any time in the future you can re spray the inner panel stuff which will re soften the old application.
