6 Bolt PTO's attach to the transmission, 10 bolt PTO's attach to the transfer case, NP 201. However this is not a hard and fast rule! (good ol Dodge!) Your best bet is to find a PTO attached to a NP 201 transfer case and then make sure that you have frame clearance to do it that way. Some of these cases had PTO capability on either side so you really need to do your home work before you buy a PTO. (This answer applies to conventional cab PW not FF's, just to save you guys some time replying! ha!ha!)
