Jonas, i think this is way out of hand, i will not reply anymore, i think you are too honest for your own good though, I would have express mailed the truck title to the buyer, have him sign it and furnish a copy of his insurance and the sales fees, return mail to me, then i would go transfer the title, pay the sales tax and remove the plates and mail the title in the new buyers name to him after placing a copy with the driver in case he got stopped at a way station. I still donot and never will understand if you did this why are siging the theft report, according to your story you are no longer the owner, you can not file charges if the truck is not yours, either i am missing something here or you or someone is not telling the whole story, is it possible the driver got a bribe to missplace the truck by a theif so they might end up with the truck and let insurance pick it up? Please forgive me, i do not think you insurance scammer but possible scamed. Still hope we can forgive each other and go on, i think you should be more careful and insist the buyer switCh title in your state, hey if he is honest he is goig to pay for it sometime right, $25 of airmail and you would not be here. Hope the truck is recovered by the rightful owner and no insurance company is scammed by some crook. (not you of cousre you are honest i assume,) the driver or seller i wonder about? Please forgive if you can, i have learned a lot about the way these trucks are sold and kinda stolen on the forum.
