I insist on transfering the title with new buyer before deal is done, first i make sure money is in the bank and not hot check, i forgive you for calling me a moron but you are in a weak title state apparently or not aware of the law here in texas. AAA is right about years ago, a smart seller will not leave it up to the buyer to change them over, here they still need the sellers autograph on a sold for xxxxxx amount so state can collect sales taxes before transaction is complete. I wish we had the rol like Glen has!I guess Jonas is in a weak title state as well or one where tags are not transfered at the same time as title. I just thought it is strange for a officer of the law to be asked to look for a truck with someones elses tags on it because they were not removed when it sold to buyer in another state, they have no vin/motor numbers to work with if the truck was spotted because it is still in Jonas,s name? Please help me out where i missed the boat as i am title moron!i donot understand if someone has sold a truck what he cares if it is stolen other than being concerned, it sounded like a mess some officer will have to straighten out. i would have posted the vin/motor number with a new picture of the truck my phone number everything to help someone who spots it before it is stripped or wrecked, can you see where the issue is who owns its, he never said he has or has not been paid, maybe he is supposed to have the plates mailed back to him or something, but thing i dont get is the new owner cannot use the out of states plates in his state or can he, i loved the truck and jonnas site but hey nobody has explained it to me, we are a very strong title state but i am not sure about the others procedures, i am mailing this afternoon for 50 states tiles regs, i am not the enemy, i still hope i donot get kicked off this site by memebers but i will try to do the best i can, maybe you can post a title app from your state, please/ i will look for one from texas and the sales reg and put it on the oddball site.it on m37 linked, might be a day or two. email your title app/sales app to ranchoblanco70@hotmail.com or the pentagon address it is new to keep junk out and hate mail i get from the forum, i just change it every few weeks with my handle as well.
