I installed a York a/c compressor on my '74 Scout II and love it. It's real simple to do, just add a filter to the air intake and air hose to the high pressure outlet of the York. To be safe, be sure to install a pressure relief valve to the system (the York compressor on my Scout II will go over 165 psi without the relief valve). On board air is about the handiest add on you can do, even if you never air down your tires for wheeling.
