Ha! Ha!
Hi Marty,
You got lucky! I changed my oil and filters every 3,500. Regular service intervals. I have tons and tons of reciepts for service on that turkey. I had Dodges for 22 years, got tired of the look, which didn't change from 1972 until 1993 (you guessed it about three months after I bought the ferd the new Ram came out!!!) I bought the "Quality is Job One" BS, hook line and sinker. You can get a good one or a lemon from any manufacturer, but why play russian roulette at $30,000 a pop? I had 4 new ferd trucks in my little fleet, none of the other faired any better. Talking to other company owners I deduced that ferd sells a lot of trucks based upon price and price only. BUT long run costs eat up the difference. I'm glad you lucked out and got the one good one made that week! ha!ha! AND oh yeah, what's with that front end??? I think they finally did away with it! (after the Firestone fiasco the tire kickbacks ended!ha!ha!)
"There's a ferd in my garage,....because the Dodges are on the road"!!!! ha!
